How to get invitation?

Thank you for your interest in becoming a part of Scout Camp! We're thrilled to see the excitement around our community, and we aim to grow thoughtfully, prioritizing quality interactions and the good vibes our members know and love.

Currently, we're expanding membership by invitation only, with recommendations coming from our existing members. Here's what you need to know about our invitation process:

Invitations Are Member-Driven:
Our active members are at the heart of Scout Camp. They understand the unique vibe of the community and are best suited to recommend those who would be a great fit. They might reach out to friends or acquaintances from other boards who they believe would bring value and positivity to Scout Camp.

How to Be Considered:
If you're genuinely interested in joining Scout Camp, your best bet is to build connections with other members through other platforms. Not necessarily by interacting or knowing members personally. Neither by giving promises of having a lot of content to upload. Instead, engage meaningfully on other forums, contribute to discussions, write stories, and give help and advice when possible. In short: Showcase the qualities Scout Camp values: enthusiasm, respect, helpfulness, and a genuine love for what we share here. Sooner or later you will be noticed.

No Paid or Traded Invitations:
Please be cautious! Invitations to Scout Camp are not for sale or trade, and anyone attempting to buy or sell an invitation will be denied membership. Scammers sometimes target interested users, so if you come across anyone offering an invitation for a fee, know that it is not legitimate and possibly a fraud.

Patience and Positivity:
We understand that waiting can be tough, especially for a community as exciting as Scout Camp. Rest assured though, that as we grow, more opportunities to join will open up. Until then, keep fostering positive interactions in other spaces, and stay tuned for updates!

Scout Camp's growth is driven by our commitment to quality and community, and we appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to expand in a way that preserves what makes Scout Camp special. We look forward to the possibility of welcoming you in the future!

Scout Camp' Members Seeking to Invite Someone:
Scout Camp member, you understand the good vibes of the community and know who would be a great fit. If you have a strong candidate in mind, whether a friend, a contact from another forum, or someone who simply stands out - let the Scout Camp Council know!

To refer someone, send a private message to the "Troop Leaders" group and include the username of your candidate(s) and at which forum they are active. A short description on why you think they are suitable candidates is always appreciated.

The Scout Camp Council will discuss each candidate and, if there's agreement, an account for them will be created. The login credentials can be passed to the candidate by you personally, or by the Scout Camp Council.

Occasionally, we decide against a candidate. This is rare but usually applies to those with minimal engagement or one-post histories. Don't take it personally if your referral doesn't receive an invitation, and please understand that we won't provide specific reasons for a rejection - only that a decision was made not to proceed.

Obviously negative behavior such as disrespect to others or open hostility towards Scout Camp guarantees no invitation, no matter the content or cash offered.
